Esoterica Radio is an independent online radio project from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It started with a simple idea: create a place to listen to electronic music without sticking to just one genre. Today, Esoterica runs several stations covering different styles of electronic music and features mixes from DJs and producers from around the world.
The idea behind Esoterica is simple: play good electronic music and help people discover artists and sounds they might not hear elsewhere.
We don't want to follow one particular sound or trend. The stations are built around different genres and moods, so listeners can choose what they feel like hearing.
Some days that might mean festival and progressive house. Other days it might be dark electro, bass, psytrance or synthwave. Each station has its own character, but they are all part of Esoterica.
Different stations, different sounds, one radio.
Different stations, different sounds, one radio.
Festival energy, powerful drops, progressive melodies and electronic anthems.
Dark club atmospheres, electro-driven rhythms and underground electronic sounds.
Heavy basslines, aggressive rhythms, hybrid trap and experimental electronic music.
Hypnotic rhythms, psychedelic soundscapes, progressive journeys and trance-inspired frequencies.
Retro-futuristic synths, electronic rock, darkwave influences and sounds inspired by the night.
We are always looking at new genres and ideas for future stations.
Artists & Guest Mixes
Esoterica isn't only about automated playlists.
We also give DJs and producers a place to share their mixes with listeners around the world.
Guest mixes, DJ sets and special shows are a big part of the project. They give us a chance to feature artists from different countries and scenes.
Some artists are already well known, while others are still building their audience. We enjoy featuring both.
A guest mix is simply a chance for a DJ to put together a set they enjoy and share it with a new audience.
We receive mixes from artists around the world, and they often introduce our listeners to DJs and music they haven't heard before.
The mixes become part of our archive and stay available for listeners to discover later.
From a radio project to a growing electronic music platform.
Esoterica expands beyond the browser with its mobile experience.
Guest mixes become an important part of the Esoterica platform, connecting artists and listeners around the world.

The platform expands with new stations and an updated online presence.

Esoterica Radio was founded in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Esoterica started in Sarajevo, but the radio isn't limited to one city or country. Anyone with an internet connection can tune in.
From Sarajevo to listeners around the world.
That's what we wanted from the beginning: a small local project that anyone, anywhere, can listen to.
What Esoterica Is About
Esoterica is a mix of music, radio and technology.
The website, stations, guest mixes and mobile app are all part of the same project.
For us, electronic music is mostly about the feeling it creates. The right track can change the mood of a night, a drive or a quiet evening at home.
Sometimes all you need is the right track.
Listen 24/7
All Esoterica stations are online 24/7.
You can listen through the website or from your phone using the Esoterica app.
Put it on while you're working, driving, studying, hanging out or getting ready for a night out.
